Value Converter Tools

A conversion is useful only when the output matches the destination's expected units and representation. These focused utilities help with Unix time and CSS colors. Related number and data converters are linked here when a task starts with a different kind of value.

Choose the right tool

Unix Timestamp Converter

Convert between Unix seconds or milliseconds and an ISO date with an explicit timezone.

Color Converter

Translate a CSS color between supported HEX, RGB, and HSL forms for a design handoff.

Number Base Converter

Move an exact integer between binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal representations.

JSON to CSV

For records rather than single values, flatten a JSON array into a CSV table.

Example workflow: check a timestamp in an event log

  1. Identify whether the source value is measured in Unix seconds or milliseconds before pasting it.
  2. Select that unit in Unix Timestamp Converter and compare the ISO result with the expected event time.
  3. Check the timezone and original event source before storing or sharing the converted date.

Before you use the result

A plausible-looking output can still be wrong when the input unit or timezone was assumed incorrectly. Color conversions represent supported CSS color values, not a complete design token system. Tabular conversions can lose nested types and structure.

Start from the value you have

Use Unix Timestamp Converter when a log or API returns an integer and you need an ISO date, or when a date must become a timestamp. A 13-digit millisecond value interpreted as seconds will produce the wrong date. Confirm both the unit and timezone at the source.

Color Converter is for supported CSS color syntax. Compare its output in the interface where the color will be used, especially when translating between forms. For integers, Number Base Converter preserves exact values across binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal. When the input is a collection of records instead of one value, a dedicated data converter such as JSON to CSV is a better starting point.
