PowerPoint Tools
Presentations often need two practical operations: getting the words out of existing slides or making a simple deck from an outline. These tools handle PPTX content locally in your browser. They are designed for text workflows rather than visually reproducing an existing presentation.
Choose the right tool
PPTX to Text
Extract text from slides in order to review a presentation, prepare notes, or reuse an outline.
Outline to PPTX
Turn a short title-and-bullet outline into a new, editable PowerPoint presentation.
All tools
Example workflow: prepare a short project update
- Write a title and concise bullets for each slide, using a line with three dashes between slides.
- Generate a PPTX file and open it in a presentation editor to check line lengths and visual balance.
- If revising an existing deck, extract its slide text first and use that content to prepare a fresh outline.
Before you use the result
Text extraction does not reproduce images, charts, speaker notes, or slide layout. Outline generation creates a new simple theme rather than editing the original deck. Old binary .ppt files and faithful PPTX-to-PDF rendering are outside the current scope.
Work with the words on the slides
PPTX to Text reads slide XML and lists text by slide number. It can help with a content review or accessibility pass, but a text result cannot describe visual meaning on its own. Images, charts, animations, and speaker notes are not exported. Check the original presentation when those details matter.
Outline to PPTX creates a new wide-format deck. A line beginning with # becomes a slide title, bullet lines begin with -, and --- starts the next slide. Keep each slide concise; the tool limits the number of slides and bullets so text fits a simple layout. The resulting objects remain editable in a presentation application.
Processing happens on your device. The generated deck is useful for an initial structure or internal update. It is not a substitute for a carefully designed presentation, and no existing template or brand styling is preserved.
