PDF Tools
PDF work can mean three different things: packaging images as pages, rendering a page to pixels, or combining existing PDFs. Choose the tool by the result you need. Each option processes files in your browser without uploading documents.
Choose the right tool
Images to PDF
Use this when separate PNG or JPEG images should become a single PDF with one image per paper page.
PDF Page to PNG
Use this when one existing PDF page needs to become a PNG preview for slides, documentation, or review.
Merge PDFs
Use this when complete PDF files should be joined in order without rasterizing their ordinary page content.
All tools
Example workflow: assemble a project handoff
- If the starting material is screenshots or photos, put them in reading order and create an image PDF.
- If the starting material is already several PDFs, merge them and check the page count and document order.
- When one page needs to appear in a slide or issue, render that page as PNG at a suitable resolution.
Before you use the result
These tools handle different levels of document information. An image PDF has no selectable text layer, PNG export rasterizes one page, and merging may not retain bookmarks, forms, attachments, or signatures. Review each result in a PDF viewer before sharing.
Choose by source and output
Use Images to PDF when your source files are PNG or JPEG. It places one image on each A4 or US Letter page without cropping. The result is useful for a visual packet, but the text inside screenshots or photographs remains pixels. It does not become searchable without OCR.
Use PDF Page to PNG when you need a single page as an image. Standard and high resolution choices change the number of rendered pixels. This can be helpful for a diagram in a slide or a page preview, but it removes text selection, links, and vector scalability from the output image.
Use Merge PDFs when you want existing documents to stay as PDF pages. It copies page content into a new document in your chosen file order. Document-level features such as bookmarks, forms, and digital signatures are outside the preservation guarantee; inspect the final file before distributing it.
All three tools run locally. File and page limits keep processing bounded on a typical browser device. The page guidance describes those limits, expected output, and what may be lost in each transformation. A larger list of narrow conversion pages would be less useful than clear tools for distinct jobs.
