Terms

Last updated: October 5, 2026.

These terms explain how you may use the free FormatForDev website and what to check before relying on a tool's output.

Using the site

You may use the tools for lawful personal or professional work. Do not use the site to infringe others' rights or to disrupt its availability. You are responsible for having the right to process any text or file you provide to your own browser.

Your content and privacy

You retain your rights in the material you enter. Tool processing runs locally in your browser; FormatForDev does not receive or claim ownership of that material. For local preferences and ordinary hosting request data, read the Privacy Policy.

Checking the output

Tools can simplify or change structure when converting formats. A successful parse does not prove that data meets your schema, a document retains every feature, or generated code is suitable for production. Inspect results and test them in the application where they will be used.

Security, cryptography, and validation utilities answer specific technical questions; they do not replace a security review or professional advice. Use published test values and follow the requirements of your protocol or product.

Availability and changes

We may correct, change, or remove tools and documentation. The site is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every output will fit an external service or workflow. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the site changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Please review the page again before relying on a newly added tool or feature.
