This policy describes the current, static version of FormatForDev. Tool content stays in your browser; the site does not provide an upload or account service.

Text, files, and tool output

When you paste text, select a file, or use a tool, processing happens in your browser. The site does not send the input or generated output to a FormatForDev server. The site does not keep a copy in a user account or database.

Input and output remain in the open page until you clear them, leave the page, or close the tab. Copying, downloading, or sharing a result is an action you choose. Do not include secrets in bug reports or messages sent to us.

Cookies and local preferences

FormatForDev stores only your theme choice (ffd-theme) and expanded workspace choice (ffd-workspace-mode) in local storage. These values do not contain tool input or output. Google AdSense and its consent platform may use cookies or similar browser storage for advertising on home, category, and tool pages.

Local preferences can remain until you clear them or remove this site's data in your browser. Use the button below to delete only FormatForDev's two preference keys on this device. The site then follows your system color setting and uses the normal workspace size.

Website delivery and request data

A hosting provider receives ordinary network information when it delivers this static site, such as an IP address, requested page, browser details, and request time. That information can be used to deliver and secure the site. We do not run a separate tool-processing server or install a visitor analytics script in the current build.

Advertising and consent

FormatForDev uses Google AdSense on the homepage, category hubs, and tool pages. Google may process device and browser information and use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google's consent message offers consent, rejection, and settings choices. Google provides a Privacy and cookie settings link on pages where its message appears so you can change your choice. Ads may not appear on every visit. Our tool code does not send your input files, text, or generated output to AdSense.

Questions and requests

If you email us, your email provider sends your address and message to our email provider. We use that information to read and answer your message and handle any follow-up. Please do not send confidential files or credentials.
